We warmly welcome Fr. Scott Valentyn as the Administrator of Ss. Edward & Isidore Parish effective July 1, 2024. Please introduce yourself to him when you see him!
A note from Fr. Scott....
I was born and raised in Little Chute and went to UW-Madison for my first two years of college. After my sophomore year, I felt that the Lord might be calling me to the priesthood and entered seminary for the Diocese of Green Bay. After seven years, I was ordained a priest for our diocese on June 25th, 2016.
I served as the Parochial Vicar at Saint John the Baptist in Howard for three years before serving as the Administrator of Sacred Heart in Shawano for four years. I spent this past year finishing a Licentiate in Canon Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. I am so excited to be joining all of you as the Administrator at Saints Edward and Isidore while working as the Defender of the Bond for our diocesan tribunal.
On a more personal note, I am the third of four boys to my parents Deb and Dan who live in Little Chute, along with my two older brothers and their families. I also have a younger twin brother who is in the process of moving to New York City to continue his career in sales. I am very happy to be back in the Green Bay area where many of my friends and family already live. I look forward to getting to know all of you as I begin this new assignment.
