May Crowning is a traditional Roman Catholic ritual held during the month of May. At the end of a procession a statue of the Blessed Virgin is crowned with a garland or crown of flowers honoring Mary.
Our parish will celebrate May Crowning the weekend of May 4 & 5. We invite all the young people of the parish to be part of this special devotion. A special invitation to those who will make their First Holy Communion this spring to come to Mass dressed in their First Communion attire. All children will process into church during the opening song with Father Dave, and each child will have a flower for Mary.
